Theologos Chatzitheodoridiswas a textile merchant in Constantinople. He was probably killed by robbers at the end of 1920. His family were designated exchangeable refugees and left Sinasos (Mustafapaşa), according to the terms of the Lausanne Treaty. All they took with them was seven bundles in which they tried to fit their most useful and valuable possessions. Theologos Chatzitheodoridis’ walking stick was not in any way useful to his family. It was, however, valuable, as it used to belong to a person most dear to them who was no longer alive.
